Hisense Canvas TV Social Share Competition (“Competition”) Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”)

Promoter

This competition is being run by HISENSE AUSTRALIA PTY LTD ABN: 55 105 022 080 LEVEL 1/37 DALMORE DR, SCORESBY, VIC 3179 AUSTRALIA.

Eligible Entrants

• To be eligible to enter you must:
  1. reside in New Zealand
  2. be over 18 years of age
• Employees of Hisense New Zealand, their immediate families and any agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
• Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister or first cousin.
• Interstate visitors are permitted to win the prizes at this promotion.

Entry Process

• Entrants will receive one eligible entry by completing all of the following steps on Instagram or Facebook during the competition period:
  1. Like the competition post published by Hisense New Zealand;
  2. Follow the official Hisense New Zealand social media page (@hisensenz);
  3. Tag at least one friend in the comments section of the competition post.

• Each unique comment tagging a different friend will be considered a separate valid entry. There is no limit to the number of entries per person, provided each entry includes a unique tagged friend and complies with the above conditions.

Competition Period (time is AEST)

The competition will run from 4pm on 25/07/2025 – 11pm on 4/08/2025

Prize

• The major prize for this competition is:
  • a) 1 x Hisense 65″ 4K QLED CanvasTV Series S7NAU (65S7NAU)
• The total prize pool for this competition is $2,719 NZD ex GST
• If the selected prize is not available for any reason, Hisense reserves the right to substitute the prize with another item of equal or greater value if the customer/claimant agrees in writing and subject to any written directions from any applicable regulatory authority.
• If the customer/claimant does not agree despite reasonable attempts by Hisense to reach an agreement and the selected prize is not available due to circumstances beyond Hisense’s control, Hisense may substitute the prize with another item or items determined by Hisense to be of equal or higher value.

Winner Selection

• The winners for this competition will be selected by Greenroom Digital, Level 2 49-51 Stead St, South Melbourne, 3205
• The winners will be selected via random computer draw. This is a game of chance, and skill plays no part in determining the winners.
• The draw will occur at 2pm on 6/08/2025.

Notification of Winner

• The major winner of the prize will be contacted via the social media platform that they’ve submitted their entry by the promoter, by 5pm on 10/08/2025.

Unclaimed Prize

• If the Promoter is unable to contact a winner (and/or a winner does not contact the Promoter) within the two days of the competition draw, an unclaimed prize draw will be held on 06/11/2025.

Promotion and Marketing

• The competition may be promoted via Hisense’s email and social media channels, as well as on the Hisense New Zealand website (hisense.com.nz), including the competition landing page.
• By entering the competition, the winners agree to participate in such promotional activity and material as Hisense New Zealand may require without remuneration.
• The winners also consent to the use and publication of their name and any other details provided by the winners in any marketing material without any further reference or payment to the winners.

General

Please read these competition terms and conditions carefully. If you enter the competition, we will assume that you have read these terms and conditions and that you agree to them.

• Hisense reserves the right to amend the competition and its terms and conditions at any time and for any reason, subject to regulatory approval (if required) and will notify entrants of any such amendments as soon as reasonably practicable on the landing page at Hisense. It is the entrant’s responsibility to regularly check the competition landing page for any amendments. Any amendments will be applied and interpreted at the sole discretion of Hisense.
• If the competition is not capable of running as planned including by reason of technical failure, fraud or any cause beyond Hisense’s control, Hisense may cancel or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected competition attempts, to the extent permitted by law.
• To the extent permitted by law, Hisense shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the conduct of the competition or the competition or use of the prize (including but not limited to direct loss) including:
  • a) Technical or telecommunications problems (such as security breaches, technical website malfunctions or glitches); or
  • b) Acts or omissions (including negligent acts of omissions) of Hisense’s servants or agents involved in the conduct of this competition who are acting outside their authority as agent of Hisense.

• Hisense collects personal information to conduct the competition and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to subsidiary and related companies, third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, and any company with whom we are running the competition.
• Hisense is not liable for any tax implications arising from prize winnings, including fringe benefits tax. Independent financial advice should be sought.
• The laws of Victoria apply to this competition. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws of Victoria.
